Post Script

I plan to post pictures after everything settles down and we're back from Maui. Jeff's camera still works although I don't know if he has all the "stuff" to connect to the computer to transfer pics. Mine is literally held together by scotch tape! We did register for a new digital camera, in pink. It was so cute I couldn't resist!

3 MORE DAYS!!!

I'm going to be Mrs. Hall in 3 days--it's so unbelieveable. I'm so excited that I find myself getting the urge to tell complete strangers, like the cashiers at Target, that I'm getting married in ____ days. Jeff and I are beyond hope as we are quite delirious from lack of sleep, excitement, nerves, etc.!

Jeff's parents, Ann & Ted, arrived on Monday and we love having them here although I've hardly seen them as work is VERY busy! I'm done today at 2:00 PM and then I'm outta here! I'll head to Tyler tonight and hopefully get some good rest before the craziness hits this weekend.

I couldn't resist the urge and had to watch Steele Magnolias yesterday morning at 5:30 AM when I was up folding church bulletins. I apologize in advance if they're crooked! What do you expect at 5:30 in the morning! Oh, and rumor has it there may be an armadillo cake at the rehearsal dinner. My friend Paul is threatening this but it's still up in the air!!!!

I can't wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

"Engaged Encounter"

Jeff and I spent a large part of our weekend at our marriage prep. classes in Eagan. Our minister suggested we attend the "Engaged Encounter" so we followed her suggestion and had a great time. There were approximately fifteen other couples and the two couples who led the gathering. We arrived at 7:30 PM on Friday night and left at 9:30 PM on Saturday. Needless to say it was quite intense! We were both emotionally drained after that event! The instructors would give us 2 or 3 questions then we would spend time in "PR" a.k.a. Private Reflection then we met up for "CD" or Couple Dialogue to share what we had written about the topic at hand. It was a great chance to really think about the topics and get to know your partner even better! Our favorite part was doing small group with four other couples where we discussed the questions in the group setting. We found out how very normal we are--what a relief ;-D The funniest thing about the whole session was that before we broke out into "PR" we would have to sing a song...a country love song at that! Needless to say one more than one occasion Jeff as staring me down as I giggled through the song! I didn't hear him singing though so I don't know why he was giving me the eye! All in all we had a great time. The best news of all is that we only have ten more days of work until vacation!!! Oh and Kristian arrived safe & sound on Monday and he looks great! It's so good to have him here!! Katy will arrive on Saturday--can't wait to see her!

31 DAYS!!!

So that's it...31 days until our wedding! I am so excited that I can hardly stand it. I wonder if others got to the point that I'm at now. I just want it to be here and I don't want to have to think about making another wedding decision or planning anything. I'm so excited to see everyone...everyday is a new surprise to see who has sent back the RSVP & who will be coming! In the meantime Jeff and I just go about our normal days.

For those of you that don't know Jeff & I LOVE going to the lake and just soaking in the sun. Thus, our destination of Maui for our honeymoon. Well, we had a preview of Maui (sort of via Lake Johanna) over the weekend of the 4th. We spent two days relaxing on the beach. We were even able to take Maddy to the lake on Saturday for most of the afternoon while Henry was supposed to be taking a nap. It was a beautiful day and we had a wonderful time. Maddy is quite the little fish! She is so darn cute in her swimming suit you wouldn't believe it! I of course think that anything the kids are wearing makes them extra cute! They are the greatest thing (besides Jeff) that has happened in my life, okay I guess I can't leave out sobriety either huh! I think MANY people are grateful that came my way! Ha ha.

The other fun news is that Kristian will be here the 21st. I can't wait to hang out and laugh with him in person. We do a lot of that on the phone but it's just not the same. So look out Tyler; Kristian will be in town!!

Until next time~

It's been awhile...

It's just about six weeks until the big day...the wedding that is! I can't wait. Jeff and I have booked the honeymoon--10 whole days in Maui! We've written out most of the invitations too! Boy was that interesting...Jeff, Mom, Kirsten and I were tested on our etiquette. I feel quite proper after that ordeal! But most of them are now posted and in the mail! Yay! It's official...now we just have to wait for the big day to arrive! I'm still trying to take off a few pounds so hopefully they will come off in these next 6 weeks! I'm keeping my fingers crossed! Of course I'm excited to be Mrs. Hall but I am also really looking forward to seeing Maddy & Henry all dressed up! I know that they are going to be absolutely ADORABLE as always!!!!

Tip for the day--

Never tell your crack addicted prostitute that you want to help her get off drugs. She may beat you up and hit you in the head with your telephone.

Just a little something I learned at work this week. Tee hee! Never a dull moment!

Settling in!

Well Jeff and I are certainly settling into our new apartment. Fortunately our things have blended well together. I threw out the lamp he hated and he gave away the awful tree table! So all in all our apartment looks really cute. I know we are both very happy to be there. We still have the little details of setting up the computer, hanging pictures, etc. but mostly it's all together. We love going down for a swim or hot tub. I feel like I'm staying in a hotel everyday!

So thanks to all who helped us move and put up with yet another address change for me! I'll have to post some pictures when we get the computer set up. I just wanted to drop a line quick over my lunch hour. Until next time...
